About Saint John’s Prep

Learning at Saint John’s Prep embraces the whole person—mind, body and spirit. Students are challenged intellectually inside and outside the classroom as they work alongside faculty who are experts in their specialty areas and committed to providing an enriching, meaningful experience.

Our small class sizes (average class size is 18) mean our students receive individual attention and our teachers have the flexibility to challenge students to achieve their full potential. Preparing for college starts on day one, with individual mentorship and exploration of interests, skillsets and aspirations.

Hands-on, creative and extraordinary. From biology and environmental studies to fine arts and recreation, our students immerse themselves in a learning environment surrounded by the natural beauty of our pristine woods and lakes shared with Saint John’s University and Saint John’s Abbey. It’s not a field trip! It’s an everyday laboratory and stage for learning at Saint John’s Prep.

Students Walking

100% of our upper school students participate in at least one activity, and many students explore an array of interests that include varsity athletics, fine arts, club sports, academic clubs and student organizations. Individual confidence grows as students develop skills in leadership, healthy competition, mentorship, adaptability, and perseverance.
